Tamika Rivera and Dilara Erbudak have a long-standing friendship and a love of textiles, colors and shapes. For the first time they are exhibiting their work together; under the title: The Thread Matter
Tamika Rivera is a multidisciplinary artist/activist based in New York. With her art she brings back memories of her ancestors. She explores her multicultural heritage from a multidimensional perspective. She mainly produces textile art alongside other techniques. Rivera is represented by Fort Makers Gallery NYC.
Dilara Erbudak is a textile designer and artist from Zurich with Turkish roots. She creates abstract works using oil and pigments on canvas. She has been showing her work in various exhibitions since 2019.

Tamika Rivera und Dilara Erbudak verbindet eine langjährige Freundschaft und die Liebe zum Textilen, zu Farben und Formen. Zum ersten mal stellen sie ihre Arbeiten miteinander aus; unter dem Titel: The Thread Matter
Tamika Rivera ist eine multidisziplinäre Künstlerin/ Aktivistin aus New York. Mit ihrer Kunst weckt sie Erinnerungen an ihre Vorfahren. Sie erforscht ihr multikulturelles Erbe aus einer mehrdimensionalen Perspektive. Sie stellt neben anderen Techniken mehrheitlich Textilkunst her. Rivera wird von Fort Makers Gallery NYC vertreten.
Dilara Erbudak ist eine Textildesignerin und Künstlerin aus Zürich mit türkischen Wurzeln. Sie schafft abstrakte Werke mit Öl und Pigmenten auf Leinwand. Seit 2019 zeigt sie ihre Arbeiten in diversen Ausstellungen.
